Insomnia As an Early Detection Warning System
After spending almost thirty years cycling in and out of chronic insomnia, I have at last found a reliable remedy with EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques or “tapping.”) Yet occasionally I still go through weeks where my sleep is not what I would like. Instead of getting anxious, I have learned to get curious and use my insomnia as an “early detection warning system,” for things that need my attention.
Cancer EFT Natural Assistance
A long time ago, before my extensive experience in holistic health, when I was a saleswoman for courier delivery services with very little holistic knowledge, I had strong opinions about disease and stress. I was convinced that stress has very little impact, if any at all, on disease. To be honest, this is because I had been told that I had a psychosomatic illness that was a pure construct of my mind, and nothing could have been further from the truth, as doctors have correctly diagnosed later. Now as a holistic practitioner having worked on my very real illness to regain about 95 percent of my health, I understand better the biochemistry of stress and how it can contribute to disease.
Thought Field Energy: What You Should Know
Thought Field Therapy was developed accidentally as a means of treating psychological issues through a specialized series of tapping with fingers at the meridian points on the upper body and hands. The original discovery happened with one of Dr. Callahan’s patients who had a phobia related to the water. While working with this patient around his swimming pool she began complaining of stomach pain that was related to her anxiety. In an attempt to help her stress-related stomach issues he used acupressure over specific meridians. The results astounded both he and his patient. Dr. Callahan gave this treatment the name “Thought Field Therapy” because of the relationship between thinking about an experience and the emotional stress which results. Dr. Callahan’s theory states that there is precisely encoded information that becomes activated when an individual thinks about a problem, either subconsciously or consciously. In order to eliminate the emotional negativity, Dr. Callahan developed a system of sequencing over precise meridian points.

EFT for Emotional Effects of Cancer Treatment
The emotional effects of a cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming, and the stress and trauma of ensuing tests, treatments and surgeries can stay with patients for a long time. Stress and trauma often accumulate in the body and nervous system and begin to negatively affect our lives and relationships. EFT, also called EFT Tapping, is an effective method to clear emotional effects of a cancer diagnosis, tests, treatments and surgeries from our bodies and minds.
Optimize Your Mind, Master Your Emotions
What is vigor? Definition: A well-balanced and sustained state of being where you are full of physical energy, mental awareness and emotional vivacity. This is being mentally and emotionally well. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, 1 in 10 Americans over the age of 12 take an antidepressant. This shows us that we are not mentally or emotionally well as a society. Here are a few things I have learned about emotional health from personal experience and the natural way I have learned to help my family with these same issues.
