Counselling will last for approximately 55 minutes for one to one work and 70 minutes for couples work. Since there may be another client waiting it is always important to close the session on time. If you need to cancel or rearrange a session please contact me with as much notice as possible and I will convey the same commitment to yourself. If a session is missed without notice, or on the day of the session arranged, then the full agreed payment will be applied, if cancelled with 3 or less days notice then half the agreed price is applied, and 4 days or more then the the payment for that session will be offset. The price per session will be agreed at the introductory session
I am a fully registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy, (B.A.C.P.), and fully adhere to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice which provides a complaints procedure should you become unhappy with any aspect of the counselling work undertaken. I also have a full confidentiality policy which will be discussed in our initial session when the full contract for our work together is agreed to and signed.
